ID4me is the universal digital profile. An open, public, user-friendly internet identity that makes life easier for people.

But why do you actually need an Internet ID? Surely you have already often logged on to a site with your Facebook or LinkedIn ID. It’s very practical, you don’t have to remember as many passwords and it’s much quicker. However, the downside is that Facebook and the like know very well what the user is interested in and also sell this information to the highest bidder.
